Uppingham Feast Day – Sunday 19th June 2016

It is that time of the year again and excitement for this year’s Feast Day is starting to flow through our beautiful town.

Uppingham Feast Day is an annual community event held in the Market Place, High Street and Town Hall of Uppingham, Rutland.

Live performance, music and food are central to the day’s events and all tastes are catered for.

This year’s event is to be held on Sunday 19th June.

The event is organised by a committee of unpaid volunteers with the support and financial backing of Uppingham Town Partnership and Uppingham Town Council.

On the day the committee is supported by a wider group of volunteers who help to set up and coordinate the day’s activities to ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely.

The event is mainly funded by income derived from advertising; the support of local business; and from stall holder pitch fees.

Prior to the event, and on the day itself, a programme of events is widely distributed.

Advertising in the Feast Day Programme is charged at:

  • £500 for a full page
  • £250 for a half page
  • £100 to sponsor a band on the main stage (this will include your business banner on the main stage during their performance)
  • Good will donations are also accepted and any donation of £25 or over will be credited in the Feast Day programme
  • Your business will also be displayed on our Facebook and Twitter pages. Like and follow us for updates and news
